Rob Leonard, the Ravens outside linebackers coach, is leaving the team for the Raiders, John Harbaugh said Wednesday.
Leonard will serve as the Raiders’ defensive line coach.
This will be Leonard’s 11th season coaching in the NFL; he joined the Ravens in 2022 after three seasons with the Miami Dolphins. While with the Dolphins, Leonard served as the outside linebackers coach (2021), assistant defensive line coach (2020), and linebackers coach (2019).
Leonard coached at North Carolina State for three seasons before joining the NFL ranks. He then spent six seasons as an assistant coach with the Giants.
This hire comes a week after the Raiders fired defensive line coach Frank Okam.
